Ze Frank seems to be a creative social networking genius. His blog is fantastic and so much fun! Inspiring people to be creative and get involved. The show was a year long video blog I would recommend you watch. He creates a community of sportsracers who he calls on to create intros for the show, dress up vacuums, create power moves, write the show for him and even turn the earth into a sandwich. He successfully created a network of awesome people and an infrastructure to motivate and mobilize them. Exhibit one; me. I feel identified as a sportsracer (although maybe I just really like cults) and felt avid enough about it to write this blog. Also note he is in the TED club and talks intelligently about the news and current events, smart dude, check it out!
